Hi , tell us a little about yourself. Where are you from, and what is your history?
Hello. My name is Serhii. I’m from Ukraine, and I am a lighting engineer by profession. But for more than 9 years I have been working as a freelancer in various fields.
In 2018, I invested my first $1000 in different currencies and become an “investor” 😀 I started to trade by using different crypto bots and after that, in 2019 I opened my crypto school and YouTube channel. Also, I have been working as a translator from English into Ukrainian in one large crypto project (since 2019).
When you were a kid, what did you want to grow up and be? What were your dreams and aspirations ?
Nice question. I wanted to become a programmer or have a profession related to computers. Basically, that’s what happened.
How did you discover Massa Labs, and what got you interested?
I heard about Massa a year ago when we launched our Massa node with a friend. I was interested in the main feature of the Massa project – solving the blockchain’s trilemma.
What is your current role in Massa, and what challenges do you expect to face?
Now, I’m a Masstronaut and creator of the Ukrainian Massa community. We have a small team, including other Ukrainian Masscots and I hope, you will see and hear about our work soon.
What do you like the most about Massa?
I really like the idea of the project, as well as its team. Especially Vincent. This is a very positive and mega-pleasant person who supports Ukraine in every possible way in this difficult time.
How do you see the Massa ecosystem 5 years from now ? What is Massa`s most interesting part ?
I hope in 5 years Massa will have a big ecosystem and change the crypto world dramatically.
Setting Massa aside for a moment, what do you do in your free time? Do you have any hobbies?
When I have free time, I prefer to play computer games. I’m a big fan of Counter Strike. I have been playing it since 2007.
What are your goals in life?
Firstly, I want to support my family and keep them safe. Also, I would like to change the life of Ukrainians for the better.
What is your favorite food, favorite movie, and favorite rock song?
Of course, my favorite food is the fast food. But, also I like traditional Ukrainian dishes – borscht (“борщ”), dumplings etc I’m a fan of Marvel movies. I can watch them several times and always go to the cinema premieres. And of course, you should know “Okean Elzy” – it’s one of the best Ukrainian rock group in the world 😀
Anything you would like to say to the community?
I want to say specifically to the Ukrainian Massa community. Be strong in this difficult time and “Glory to Ukraine”!
