Hi , tell us a little about yourself. Where are you from, and what is your history?
Hello, I’m Altay, my real name is Oğuzhan. I am from Türkiye, I am a graduate of Alternative Energy Resources. I started my own software company in 2019 but failed and had to close it. At this time, I noticed Blockchain technology and started developing projects. Since then I have been developing projects as a web 3 developer.
When you were a kid, what did you want to grow up and be? What were your dreams and aspirations ?
When I was a kid, my dream was to be a software developer, I loved the working with computers. I set up my first server at the age of 13. Now, I am working as a software developer, we can say that my dream has come true.
How did you discover Massa Labs, and what got you interested?
I discovered Massa on twitter and later joined the Testnetrun group. The first feature that caught my attention in Massa was the new technology it brought to web3. As I became more involved, I realized how fast the network was and my interest increased day by day. I wrote smart contracts and deployed them on Testnet network, it’s really fast.
What is your current role in Massa, and what challenges do you expect to face?
I contribute to the community by making easy node setup scripts. I make it easy for people to follow their nodes by making a Telegram bot (@MassaHelperBot). I’m testing smart contracts and reporting issues I see in the code to github. I’m also developing a play-to-win project and I’m very excited about it. I don’t think we will run into any problems. The team consists of experts in the field.
What do you like the most about Massa?
First is the real decentralization. We can make a more decentralized world possible. Secondly, the network is incredibly fast, we get rid of the cumbersomeness of old blockchains. And most importantly, the great innovations it brings to web3.
How do you see the Massa ecosystem 5 years from now ? What is Massa`s most interesting part ?
I think Massa will be mass adopted, and I think it won’t even take 5 years.
Setting Massa aside for a moment, what do you do in your free time? Do you have any hobbies?
I am interested in fishing, I go fishing in all my spare time. I like to walk in nature, I throw myself into nature in every spare time. Being in touch with nature calms me and gives me peace.
What are your goals in life?
I have many goals that I want to achieve in life. One of them is to tour Turkey with a motorcycle and maybe later to Europe. Also, being an honest person is very important to me. I try to be as helpful as possible to my environment.
What is your favorite food, favorite movie, and favorite rock song?
My favorite food is a Turkish kebab. My favorite movie is The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. My favorite rock music is Linkin Park – Roads Untraveled.
