Hi, tell us a little about yourself. Where are you from, and what is your history?
Hello, I’m Benoit@Dockyr, I studied in France dev skills at school but i quickly switched to IT jobs and since a couple of year I’m IT project director into a European company. I’m far of crypto domain in my work but I’m stay attract to discover engineer tools or dev language. I started in crypto with Litecoin and bitcoin mining in 2014 for fun, i saw a monetary revolution into blockchain but since Ethereum fully trust in this new revolution.
When you were a kid, what did you want to grow up and be? What were your dreams and aspirations?
When i was a child i expected to be a hacker or a PGM 🙂 today i think it’s too big fails. But i work in IT domain with part of security then it’s a self-satisfaction.
How did you discover Massa Labs, and what got you interested?
In crypto news over the web. The mass adoption target, autonomous contract, expected performance and friendly community pushed me to contrib as possible to help news members and project.
What is your current role in Massa, and what challenges do you face?
No strict tasks, i try to help community to learn about Massa. Also, i make contents, update documentations, translations in French or by creating automations tools and create/maintain community docker image to adapt Massa for all possible execution environments.
What do you like the most about Massa?
The Nakamoto coefficient target of the project.
How do you see the Massa ecosystem 5 years from now? What is Massa`s most interesting part?
One of the major blockchain free of whales. The performance result of parallel block creation.
Setting Massa aside for a moment, what do you do in your free time? Do you have any hobbies?
I try to develop home automation or discover and implement new technologies. Also, I try as much as possible to enjoy my family and friends.
What are your goals in life?
Feel free and make my family happy.
What is your favorite food, favorite movie, and favorite rock song?
Veal stew, back to the future, no more sorrow (Linkin Park will never die!)
