Hi, tell us a little about yourself. Where are you from, and what is your history?
Hola! I’m Ena, a product manager at Massa Labs. I originally come from Bosnia and Herzegovina, where I was born and raised. When I turned 23, I moved to Moscow, where I stayed in total around 6 years. Initially moved there for a master’s degree, and after decided to stay because of an amazing life and a sense of family I had there.
After the end of the 2nd year in Moscow, I made a sudden decision to move to Beijing for a short period of time for work, but soon after returned back to Moscow. So yeah, I liked to move a lot. I studied economics and hold Master’s degree in Development econ.
I joined blockchain and crypto industry in 2018 after a serious quarter-life crisis – I couldn’t find anything that interested me in terms of work. Interestingly enough, my first job in crypto was building a Layer 1, that unfortunately never saw the daylight due to the infamous crypto winter in 2018. However, that opportunity brought me close to crypto and product management and helped me find my passion in terms of career.
When you were a kid, what did you want to grow up and be? What were your dreams and aspirations ?
Lara Croft. Something about diving into the unknown and exploring. I still want to be her, my dream never died.
How did you discover Massa Labs, and what got you interested?
A very close friend of mine introduced me to Massa Labs. Basically 2 things made me interested: a very novel approach to product management and innovation, and a super-intriguing blockchain design.
What is your current role in Massa, and what challenges do you face?
Role: Product manager ; Challenges: make myself to strip away all the frameworks and methodologies in PM work.
What do you like the most about Massa?
The in-house environment. I feel it’s very encouraging for everyone to try and bring ideas and projects to the table. Also, my voice is heard, which is very important for me.
How do you see the Massa ecosystem 5 years from now ? What is Massa`s most interesting part ?
Autonomous smart-contracts taking us on a very cool journey 🙂

Wake-surfing, gym, organizing parties, hiking
