Massa Masstronaut

Hi , tell us a little about yourself. Where are you from, and what is your history?

Hello all. My name is Sandra but everyone calls me Sami. I am a graphic designer and I have worked for 20 years in industrial engineering. A few years ago I decided to change the direction of my professional career and I trained as a community and project manager, that’s when I met Mon (also a partner at Massa) and with him I created the brand Cumulo, which initially was more oriented to web development and today focuses its activity on blockchain through collaborations with various projects and communities.

I got to know blockchain thanks to an education in which one of the subjects was about cryptocurrencies, I joined several communities with Mon and we went deeper into the technology.

When you were a kid, what did you want to grow up and be ? What were your dreams and aspirations ?

When I was a child it was clear to me that I wanted my profession to have something to do with sport, either as a gym teacher in a school or to have my own gym, later I started practising martial arts and then I dreamt of being a professional sportswoman and being able to go to the Olympics one day.

Although I have always been very creative, I played the piano and dreamed of being a pianist, at one time I liked to paint and dreamed of being a painter… Over time I saw that my analytical and observational skills would lead me more towards a technical career.

How did you discover Massa Labs, and what got you interested?

I discovered Massa together with Mon, thanks to an announcement posted by Andrei on a Telegram community we were in.

What is your current role in Massa, and what challenges do you face?

At Massa I have worked in various departments. As a graphic designer, helping Mon and Andrei in the content generation and translation department. I also collaborate as a Masstronaut in the tasks of dissemination, community manager and social media management for the Spanish-speaking community.

What do you like the most about Massa?

What I like most about Massa is the team, they are super committed professionals, with great talent and also the integrity of their vision and mission. In short, what they are and what they want to build.

How do you see the Massa ecosystem 5 years from now ? What is Massa`s most interesting part ?

Five years in blockchain is a long time. I hope that at that time they will be a stable and strong layer 1 with many projects running on it and growing in value.

Setting Massa aside for a moment, what do you do in your free time? Do you have any hobbies?

I still keep my childhood hobbies. Sport, I practice Kenpo Karate, kickboxing, fitness, trekking …. I love nature, when I can I love to go to the mountains to do great trekking. I want to explore other countries and cultures, I love Asian culture, meditating and I enjoy learning Asian massage techniques, I hope to travel soon to do so.

What are your goals in life?

As I said, I would like to travel, get to know other cultures and continue my career in blockchain learning more and more every day. I would like to delve a little deeper into the technical side.

What is your favorite food, favorite movie, and favorite rock song?

I love to eat, in general, hahaha, I love Asian food, I love sticky rice, but I also love Italian food and I’m crazy about almost any sweet dessert.

Anything you would like to say to the community?

To the community I would say go deeper into the technology it is wonderful to be able to be where we are at the time we are.
