Hi , tell us a little about yourself. Where are you from, and what is your history?
Hi, My name is Anthony Nnamdi (Tony). I am from Nigeria, and I am a Pharmacist by Profession. I am from a middle-class background with experience working in various health and social institutions (hospitals, government agency, Pharmacy, Red Cross Society).
Currently I am studying to become a data analyst. I got into cryptocurrency in 2018 after a friend of mine introduced me to some Airdrops and since then I have been very enthusiastic about blockchain and cryptocurrency and how they can help to solve some of the issues we face today (financial freedom, need for full decentralization, security, transaction speed etc.)
When you were a kid, what did you want to grow up and be? What were your dreams and aspirations ?
I dreamed of being a medica doctor. My dream was to graduate with good grade and help to build a world class hospital in my local community with focus on diseases like Diabetes and Hypertension which affected most people in my environment then. Surely, things are different now and I still aspire to help in building this very hospital in the future as well as bringing other new technology (blockchain) to my community to help alleviate poverty and discover talents.
How did you discover Massa Labs, and what got you interested?
I came across Massa on icodrops and I was immediately interested in the solution it is offering at the moment (speed, full decentralization and security which is currently not obtainable)
What is your current role in Massa, and what challenges do you expect to face?
I have part of Massa community (Even the Massa Africa community), I also run Massa Node(testnet) and Now I have become a Massa Masscot. I expect to have new challenges, a lot to learn and contribute too. I also expect to meet and work with other teams in Massa community and work diligent to help anyone as much as I can.
What do you like the most about Massa?
With the continuous increase in crypto/blockchain awareness, there is need for increased transaction speed, full decentralization with no compromise to security. This is what Massa tends to achieve with the structure of its technology. These are what I love most about Massa and what got me interested in the project (Solution to real blockchain problem).
How do you see the Massa ecosystem 5 years from now ? What is Massa`s most interesting part ?
I see many people adopting Massa and a lot of projects built on it. I think the most interesting part of Massa is that it is controlled by thousands of communities (Truly decentralized).
Setting Massa aside for a moment, what do you do in your free time? Do you have any hobbies?
I love to play Volleyball, watch soccer, hangout with friends or watch movies when I am free.
What are your goals in life?
I plan to become a blockchain data analyst working with different blockchain projects. Aside this, I would love to have a family and live a quiet life.
What is your favorite food, favorite movie, and favorite rock song?
My favorite food is Nigeria Egusi soup. House Of Card is my favorite movie. I do not really have any favorite rock song.
Anything you would like to say to the community?
I am happy to be part of Massa community and most importantly I am ready to work with everyone withing the community to uplift Massa even more.
