Masscots Series Raul Interview

Massa Masscot

Hi , tell us a little about yourself. Where are you from, and what is your history?

Hi, my name is Raul and I am from Transylvania, Romania. Since a little kid, I loved technology, my father would repair neighbors TV’s in his spare time and I was watching at what he was doing like the TV’s where space rockets :)) Yes, in those times, that was Hi-Tech. Then I grow up but my “hunger” for tech still remained.

I went to Electronics Highschool and loved the time and knowledge that I’ve gained. Now, lets talk about the present because this will be a surprise for all. I am currently a car painter and love what I do. Who would of guessed ? I run my own shop and work hard every single day, still, when I get home and read about Blockchain technology, a new world opens in front of me. A world where I am not tired anymore, a world full of wonderful people that I can share ideas with and in the same time, helping others understand the true meaning of this technology. I love working in a team.

When you were a kid, what did you want to grow up and be? What were your dreams and aspirations ?

Haha, funny one, When I was a kid, I wanted to be the President of Romania. Still a good bunch of my life in front of me. Who knows? But until then, I’m with Massa all the way.

How did you discover Massa Labs, and what got you interested?

A good friend of mine told me about Massa and the rest is history. The project, the idea, was like a magnet for me. I loved the story about our founders, about how Massa was “born”. Their ideology was just perfect for me and told myself that I need to stay and spread the world about Massa.

What is your current role in Massa, and what challenges do you expect to face?

My current role is Massa Masscot and I will continue to do what I’ve done so far. Be there for the community (as I am writing this, I’m also helping a community member to set-up a node), helping them, keeping them active and engaged.

What do you like the most about Massa?

Definitely decentralization is the most important aspect but the community is almost at the same position. Romanian community (that I’m a part of) is like a second family to me. Autonomous SC is another feature that I really love.

How do you see the Massa ecosystem 5 years from now ? What is Massa`s most interesting part ?

Well, 5 years in this world is like a lifetime but I see Massa where it belongs, at the top, with a high adoption rate and an important part of DEFI chain.

Setting Massa aside for a moment, what do you do in your free time? Do you have any hobbies?

I simply can’t let Massa aside when I’m talking about my hobbies, this is a hobby for me, a hobby where I am on “my world” and enjoy every second of it. I like everything about blockchain and happy to gather all the info I can get.

What are your goals in life?

My goals in life ? I guess that like almost all people, I want to have a healthy family and kids. Other things will come in time.

What is your favorite food, favorite movie, and favorite rock song?

Favorite food, hmmm…. I like “Sarmale” very much and “Mititei”, both are country specific. I’m not a big music guy but I like Michael Jackson 🙂

Anything you would like to say to the community?
