Hi , tell us a little about yourself. Where are you from, and what is your history?

I was born in Paris of a French father and Spanish mother. I spent all of my teenage years in Madrid and came back to Paris for my software engineering studies. I’m very attached to both cities. My previous job was as a R&D engineer at a company that develops a 3D digital twin cloud collaboration platform for engineering and the AEC industry. I had absolutely no knowledge in any field of crypto before working at Massa.

When you were a kid, what did you want to grow up and be ? What were your dreams and aspirations ?

I was never really the kind of kid that had big dreams about the future, but I do have a memory that sticked with me. My father is a physics professor and he always was really into robotics, and when I was a kid I used to accompany him to the French national robotics contest that would happen every year. I especially remember those rooms that would smell like coffee and sweat where you would find dozens of guys making last minute code changes to their robots. I always thought that was really cool and I definitely think that going to those contests had an impact on my career choice.

How did you discover Massa Labs, and what got you interested?

I discovered Massa through Aurélien. We’ve been good friends since we met in the first year of university and when he got recruited here they asked him if he knew Rust devs and that’s basically how I ended up here. As for what got me interested, I saw Massa as a great opportunity to learn a lot of things in a new field I new absolutely nothing about. Also even though I didn’t understand how insane the vision of Massa was at the time because I didn’t have any context in crypto, I could already tell after reading the technical paper that it was a very innovating company.

What is your current role in Massa, and what challenges do you face?

I’m a core dev and I would say that fixing the testnet bugs is the biggest challenge. Because of the complexity of the network and the fact that we release many new features every month, it can be really hard to track down the issues without going mad.

What do you like the most about Massa?

The tech we develop, the team, and how involved the community is.

How do you see the Massa ecosystem 5 years from now ? What is Massa`s most interesting part ?

I think that Massa is well on its way, I can definitely see Massa being one of the biggest crypto ecosystems 5 years from now. For me, the most interesting part of Massa will always be the technology, obviously because of my background but also because it is so innovative and well-thought. I can’t wait to see what people will build on it.

Setting Massa aside for a moment, what do you do in your free time? Do you have any hobbies?

I really enjoy basketball, playing it and watching it. I also like architecture, coding personal projects, playing video games, and reading novels and mangas.

What are your goals in life?

I would love to build an architectural house and participate in every step of the process. One day I’d also want to be in a confortable enough position in life to just spent my time taking care of the people I love.

What is your favorite food, favorite movie, and favorite rock song?

My favorite food is Quiche lorraine for France and Tapas for Spain, favorite movie is “No country for old men”, and my favorite (indie) rock song is Kids from MGMT.

Anything you would like to say to the community?

Thank you all for being so involved in the project, seeing your comments on the discord server always warms my heart. Please never change <3
